FOG Ride Routes
All rides start from Royal Canadian Legion 215, 3600 De Vries Avenue, located just inside Henderson Hwy and the Perimeter Hwy.
Our routes are structured in a way that the longer routes are extensions of the shorter ones. This allows many options for riding with a group as long as possible and turning around when it suits you. In fact on a given ride there will be typically by some riders that turn around at Lockport, others at Selkirk, and others on the way back from Big Bridge, while others proceed on to Birds Hill Park, or even Cooks Creek.
The longer rides have a slight range in distances as the faster groups may add on an extension along Breezy Point Rd north of Selkirk to Candeboye Rd. and back before crossing 'Big Bridge.'
The classic FOG ride is route D, the Birds Hill Park Loop.
A - Legion to Lockport and back. The slow ride.
Distance: 39.6 km
B - Legion to Selkirk and return
Distance: 59.6 km
Distance: 74.8 - 79.8 km

Distance: 96.5 -104 km
On hotter days we'll often stop at the East Beach in BHP for water.
In summer as riders gain fitness, the group will often extend to Cooks Creek.
Distance: 106.3 - 113.8 km
On hotter days we'll often stop at the East Beach in BHP for water.
* Routes may change at any time.
** Roads are not closed to traffic. Riders must always put safety first. Do not cross the centre line of the road. Cars may back out onto the road or slow suddenly to turn.
